"I am just getting in touch to provide an update on the TRO [Traffic Regulation Order] procedures for Section 1 of the CCWEL project.
As you are likely aware Section 1 runs from Roseburn to Haymarket Train Station and we initiated the TRO procedure some weeks ago when we sent out designs to statutory consultees including Community Councils.
The consultation period for Section 1 of the CCWEL is expected to run from the 2nd week in April (week beg 9th) to the 2nd week in June (week beg 7th), exact dates to be confirmed. During this time the designs will be available to view on the Traffic Orders section of our website, and members of the public will be welcome to submit their comments to the traffic orders team as part of the statutory consultation.
As part of this TRO we will be holding two public drop in sessions, one in Roseburn (Bloemen Ecke) on the 17th of April, the other in Haymarket (Apex Hotel) on the 19th of April. Both session will run from 1pm till 7pm.
In advance of these two drop-in sessions we will leaflet drop all properties in the surrounding area. I have attached a copy of the leaflet which will be distributed.
I will also include information regarding these sessions in the next Project Update, which will go out shortly.
I hope that you find this information useful, and hope to see many of you at one of these two drop-in sessions.
