According to the minutes of 14 January 2020: "Following withdrawal of the original application for a development of 19 houses at 9 Kinellan Road, a modified proposal is anticipated but has not yet appeared.  The Planning Department has refused to make a Tree Preservation Order on the sequoia adjacent to the site...  Unauthorised tree work was once again observed at 9 Kinellan Road on 30 November, and a notice of suspected breach of planning regulations was submitted.

"The Coltbridge Viaduct refurbishment works are on the way and progressing well.

However, to repair timber steps along the SW wing wall, we are going to close the steps for approx. 3 weeks, 10/02-28/02. Attached are signs that we will be placing at the various points on approach to the steps to catch members of the public from

PC Smith & Sgt Watt at MurrayfieldCC meeting 14 January 2020

We were delighted to welcome the ever helpful PC Paula Smith, and special visitor Sgt Sandra Watt, to our meeting. Sgt Watt was there to discuss how Police Scotland might improve its communications with Murrayfield Community Council. According to the minutes of the meeting: 

"3.2 Sgt Sandra Watt told the meeting that she is the CPT sergeant for the area stretching from Queensferry and Ratho to Corstorphine and Murrayfield. Future initiatives will be:-

The Scottish Government Reporter accepted the quality, scale and density of the design, its impact on adjacent conservation areas and buildings, parking provision, lack of affordable housing, and effect on natural heritage. MCC are pleased that the City Council has reinstated the four planters on the Old Colt Bridge following their temporary removal to accommodate the controversial sale of Christmas trees at this location during December.
