An early 20th Century building in Roseburn Park, which has for many years been a derelict toilet facility, is to be renovated to provide a cafe for park users.
The question of what to do about this building and its maintenance has been on Friends of Roseburn Park's (FoRP's) agendas for a decade. After extensive consultation, fund-raising, partnership-building, work by FoRP Trustees, and Craig Proudfoot of One Foot Square, the project is ready to start.
It is hoped the cafe will open in Autumn 2022, to be operated with the expertise of park stakeholder, Murrayfield Wanderers Rugby Football Club.
The full history of the project can be found here on the FoRP website.
