"Food collection, Murrayfield 14th June.
Hi everyone. We are arranging a collection for the foodbank at LOVE Gorgie Farm. Despite reopening just before lockdown, the foodbank at Gorgie farm have delivered almost 400 food parcels around their local area. They are still seeing enormous demand and would be very grateful for donations of:
- Packaged/ dried goods eg pasta, rice, cereals. noodles, oats
- Tinned goods - soup, veg, beans, fruit, meat, fish etc
- Long life milk
- Fresh fruit and veg eg potatoes, carrots, apples, bananas, grapes etc -things that can be divided up for parcels.
- Plus plastic bags, boxes for the parcels they make up.
If you would like to help with our collection, please comment or DM [link is to Facebook] and I'll send you details of where to drop off. Or if you'd like to arrange your own collection, donations can be dropped at the farm any day between 10am and 4pm."
