Good morning everyone

 Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium is supporting the Edinburgh 10k men’s and women’s run on Sunday 22 October.  An overview, approximate timetable for the day and information concerning road closures is below and attached.

As ever, we will remind organisers about the importance of keeping noise to a minimum at the South Stand during set-up on the Sunday morning.

Overview:

The Men’s & Women’s 10K Edinburgh is a stunning 10K run through the heart of Scotland’s capital city, with a grandstand finish at Scottish Gas Murrayfield stadium.

Official charity partner is Macmillan Cancer Support, with Premier Affiliate Charities being Cancer Research UK, MS Society, Alzheimer Scotland, and the British Heart Foundation. Online giving partner is JustGiving.

Road Closures:

Attendance: Some 2,000 participants are expected

Catering: 1x Coffee & Cake unit in operation from 8am-1pm

 Sound: Mic’d MC / music played over PA system in Reunion Area (South Stand car park). There will be a short sound check around 12noon on Friday 20 October in this area.
