Planning Modernisation

The planning system is undergoing significant modernisation as part of the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006. A range of consultation papers on changes to the main elements of the planning system have recently been published. To support discussions on the development management regulations in particular (which deal with the procedures around submitting and processing planning applications), a summary sheet has been prepared setting out how the main proposals will affect communities.
