At our January meeting Inspector Brian Wilson reported that over the last few weeks there had been a problem in Roseburn caused by young people who had moved into the area after being moved on following incidents in Corstorphine: twenty-one young people had taken part in rioting and breach of the peace at the Tesco supermarket in Corstorphine, but the same group was now congregating at Murrayfield Ice Rink. He had invited the parents of the 21 to a meeting and had shown them a visual record of the incident. There had also been a discussion about the effect on the community and an attempt was made to have some contact with victims of the incident. Again he hoped that any problems would be reported to the police.
