Russell Rd -- Proposed Waiting Restrictions

In the August News reference was made to a recommendation that double yellow lines be installed on the east side of the carriageway, extending the existing traffic restrictions from the junction with Roseburn Terrace to the former sorting office.
This has now been promulgated as a draft Traffic Regulation Order and will be advertised shortly. Formal submissions of objections to the proposal should be sent to the Director of City Development (Transport), Waverley Court, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG, quoting the reference TRO/08/17A, not later than 3 March 2009. Further details of this can be examined in the period 6 February to 3 March in the City Chambers.
